Overview
The Belfast Shortmat Zone is a merger of the original 5 zones that were in the Greater Belfast area.
Previously we had North, South, East, West and Central. The last merger in 2016 was between North Belfast and South/East Belfast to become a single zone.
We currently have 11 clubs affiliated to our zone.
We run the City of Belfast League and qualifiers for the IIBA National Championships (Singles, Pairs, Triples, Fours and Over 55 Pairs are open to ALL players).
If there are enough entries we will also run Ladies Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours, Junior Singles and Pairs and a Mixed Pairs competition.
If you are running a club in the Belfast area, drop us a note at
Additional information about the Belfast Short Mat Zone is available in the News Menu.
